I find it inspiring to work on a product that I love and is a critical parte of anyones job seeking journey. Best products or projects youve worked on?Tracy Pan Ive worked on many exciting projects in my three years at Glassdoor, but an interesting one thats top of mind is our mobile app experiment to understand how paid affects organic installs. We tested buying incentivized mobile app installs to quickly surge on install volume and measure how this affected organic results. Incentivized ad model rewards the user for installing our app and we expect lower user quality as a result. However, incenti vized networks is cheap and a great way to drive scale. The idea is that if we surge in install volume using cheap paid sources, our organic ranking in the app store will rise. This will lead to higher quality user installs for free. We learned that were able to see 25-35% lift when we deploy an incentivized strategy and it gives us the same cost efficiency as a non-incentivized campaign strategy. This also highlights the analytical approach we have with marketing and why were looking for data-minded people to join the team. What would you tell candidates has been the most exciting part of your job? Why should they come to Glassdoor?Tracy Pan Youll be working for a company with a great mission helping people find jobs and companies they love. Youll feel challenged in your job.
